ChapterTest.in is a 100% digital service. We do not sell, manufacture, or ship any physical products. There is nothing to return, exchange, or physically deliver. Return policy is not applicable to our services.

1. Nature of Our Service

ChapterTest.in provides an entirely digital, online subscription service — AI-powered chapter-wise MCQ practice for Indian school students. Our platform delivers:

AI-generated multiple-choice questions (digital content)
Online exam sessions accessible via web browser
Instant digital results and AI-written explanations
A personal performance dashboard

We do not sell, stock, or deliver any physical goods. No product is packaged, shipped, or physically handed over at any point. Accordingly, a return or exchange process does not exist and is not applicable to ChapterTest.in.

2. Why Returns Are Not Applicable

Under Indian consumer protection law and standard practice for digital goods:

Digital services that have been accessed or partially consumed are not eligible for return
There is no physical item to return, exchange, or ship back
Our service is delivered electronically and instantaneously upon plan activation

This policy is consistent with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and the Information Technology Act, 2000, as applicable to digital service providers in India.

3. Refund Policy

All Purchases Are Final — No Refunds

All plan purchases on ChapterTest.in are non-refundable and non-cancellable once activated. Digital access is granted immediately upon payment confirmation.

Once a paid plan (Active ₹350/year or Pro ₹899/year) is activated, the digital service is delivered in full and immediately. We do not offer refunds because:

Access to AI-generated content is granted instantly on payment
The service is consumed progressively throughout the subscription period
There is no physical product to inspect, reject, or return
A free plan is available to evaluate the service before any purchase

4. Try Before You Buy — Free Plan

We strongly recommend using our Free Plan before purchasing any paid plan. The Free Plan gives you 3 complete exam sessions at no cost — with full access to AI question quality, timed testing, instant results, and AI explanations. This ensures you can evaluate the platform before committing financially.

5. Exceptions — Payment Errors Only

The only circumstances under which we will process a resolution are:

Duplicate charge: If you were charged twice for the same plan due to a payment gateway error, the duplicate charge will be refunded after verification
Charge without activation: If payment was deducted but your plan was not activated, contact us within 7 days with your PayU transaction reference and we will investigate and resolve promptly

These are technical payment exceptions only — not general refund requests.

6. Plan Expiry

All plans have a 1-year validity from activation date. Unused exam sessions do not carry forward upon expiry and do not entitle the user to a refund or extension.
